Nostrum CFO Elected for 3 Year Term on CBI Regional Board

Neil WarmanNeil Warman, Nostrum Group’s Chief Financial Officer, has successfully been re-elected to the Regional Board of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) for the Yorkshire & Humber region.

Commenting on the appointment, Neil said, “I’m thrilled to continue to represent the region in this way, and represent the UK FinTech sector with such a highly respected institution.”

On his appointment, Beckie Hart, CBI Yorkshire and the Humber Director, said: “I am delighted that the CBI will continue to have the opportunity to work with Nostrum, one of the UK’s fastest growing technology businesses. The Leeds City region is a thriving hub for the FinTech industry, a sector that will be at the heart of helping to drive growth across the Northern Powerhouse. Neil’s expertise will bring a valuable voice to the CBI’s regional council.”

The CBI speaks on behalf of 190,000 businesses of all sizes and sectors. The CBI’s corporate members together employ nearly 7 million people, equating to about one third of the UK private sector-employed workforce. With over 50 years of experience and 13 offices around the UK as well as representation in Brussels, Washington, Beijing and Delhi, the CBI communicates the British business voice around the world.

Neil previously served on the same CBI board for two years in 2009 before he joined Nostrum Group.
