Neil is a commercially-orientated CFO. His background in investment banking, trading and other senior financial services roles means he is adept at producing complex pricing models to provide support to the CEO whilst managing the associated risk by handling all contractual negotiations.
In addition to leading the finance function at Nostrum, he is responsible for all head office functions including Legal, Risk and Compliance, Property and HR, and is active in helping shape the strategy of the company.
Neil joined Nostrum in 2011 and is a qualified chartered accountant with nearly 20 years experience in highly regulated financial services businesses. Having started his career at Andersen he went on to hold senior roles at Bear Stearns and Bank of America. In 2008 he joined HML, Europe’s largest mortgage processing outsourcer, where he was Chief Commercial & Finance Officer, and Deputy Chief Executive.
Neil was previously a board member of the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP) and chaired a subcommittee responsible for the Growing Places Fund. He currently holds a position on the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) representing FinTech for the Yorkshire & Humber region.
