Our business was originally based close to the M4 corridor which is customarily regarded as the UK's technology centre, though in 2005 we decided to relocate to Harrogate to tap into the rich seam of skilled resources that exists here. Since that time we have found it relativley easy to recruit highly skilled staff who have direct experience of our sector and now wish to improve the work/life balance with shorter commutes and a better quality of life, though retaining their involvement with market leading technology.
Our corporate ethos is that we endeavour to work with local business partners wherever possible. Often one would expect that this policy required businesses to compromise on their choice of partners, though in Harrogate we have found that we are able to work with some truly visionary companies from our hosting partner, InTechnology, to our design partner, Face Group. Indeed with the support of these businesses we have been able to develop our offering and credability yet further and, since our move, have engaged with some of the largest banks and finance companies in the UK as well as becoming a trusted and respected supplier of systems to a number of companies as far a field as Australia and the United States.
There is no doubt that the move to Harrogate was appropriate for our company in 2005 and we are proud to be part of the growing digital community in the region and look forward to seeing the technology businesses in the area flourish.
